Inclement Weather Policy

First and Foremost, please err on the side of caution, as to whether you can safely attend Mass and events at St. Paul or Church of the Resurrection. On the day of the weather event, we cannot guarantee that sidewalks and parking lots will be salted nor shoveled.
Please refer to the parish websites, Facebook pages, MP Messenger and Flocknote for the latest updates. Decisions will be made by 7:00 a.m. 
MASS
Daily Mass follows HCPSS schedule. If schools are delayed or closed:

• Mass at St. Paul (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) is cancelled. We encourage parishioners to attend Mass at Church of the Resurrection on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as Mass will be held at 9AM. 
  1. NOTE: Wednesday Mass will NOT take place at Church of the Resurrection.
• Mass at Resurrection (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) will continue. Use caution as noted above.
• Saturdays:
  1. Snowing steadily by 7:00 a.m. Mass at St. Paul will be cancelled and NOT moved to Resurrection.

Weekend Mass

• Inclement weather, a notice will be posted to the parish websites, Facebook, MP Messenger and Flocknote.

 If Howard County Government is closed, the offices at St. Paul & Church of the Resurrection will be closed.
 

• Schools are delayed
  1. Morning events will be cancelled
  2. Other meetings at the discretion of staff/ministry leaders
• Schools are closed
  1. All parish events will be cancelled
  2. Other meetings at the discretion of staff/ministry leaders
• Schools closed early
  1. Afternoon/evening parish events will be cancelled
  2. Other meetings at the discretion of staff/
